[Original description]
The author hopes that The Better Part of Valor will interest both educated readers and students of the English Renaissance—in a word, many who care for a good life. As a study of men and ideas this essay seeks to present, in its entirety, the thought of the greatest early Tudor humanists on war and peace. Life and literature are therefore presented in vigorous interaction.

關於編者:
His interests are focused in several areas that include plant speciation and evolution, the development of new kinds of DNA fingerprinting methods, the application of DNA technology to solving problems ranging from the preservation/degradation of DNA, geographic differentiation at the sub-specific level, variation due to relictual Ice Age conditions, to the use of DNA sequencing for phylogenetic studies and identfication of terpenoids by mass spectroscopy and analysis of terpene synthase genes.

New associations with Forensic Science, the Drug Discovery Center, Molecular Genetics and Field Ecology are opening doors for cross-disciplinary research at Baylor. The opening of our new molecular core facility will provide an incubator for cross-disciplinary research that has, here-to-fore, been unattainable.

It is exciting to see the Vision 2012 begin to take form and to be a part of this new dimension of cross-disciplinary research. Individually, we can perform, but together, we can open new dimensions of research.
